Secondary Curriculum in Art Education
A credit-bearing educational experience in which pre-service teachers participate
in an organized service activity that meets identified community needs.
A group of pre-service teachers taught once a week for a duration of two-weeks
at Clarke Central High School in Athens, Georgia. The goals are to plan and
implement effective, engaging, and relevant secondary school art experiences.

NarrativePinch Pots
Students will learn how to create a narrative by creating a meaningful or important object by using the hand-building pinch pot, the scoring, and multiple decorative techniques. The concept of incorporate personal meaning within their design as they will communicate by using a range of subject matter, symbols, and ideas into their pinch pot.
